In August of 2020, Antonino had just relocated to Houston, ready to settle into a new city and a new chapter. Not long after, he met Julia, and what started as a simple connection from a close friend quickly turned into something neither of us could have expected. At first, we were just friends. The kind of friends who could laugh for hours, share stories, and always find an excuse to hang out.

Antonino may admit he liked Julia from the beginning… Julia might also admit it took her a little longer to catch up.

Over time, our friendship grew into something truly special. We became best friends, and eventually even roommates, building a life full of everyday moments that somehow always felt like the best parts of life such as late-night talks, shared routines, weekend plans, and plenty of laughs.

Somewhere along the way, Julia realized what Antonino had known all along: this wasn’t just friendship. In November of 2021, we officially started dating, and it didn’t take long to feel like we were exactly where we were meant to be.

Since then, we’ve packed in more memories than we can count between travel adventures, nights out exploring new bars, and countless meals (from amazing restaurants and Julia’s incredible cooking). Whether it was a big trip or a simple Tuesday dinner, we’ve always found joy in the little things.. especially when we’re together.

In May of 2025, right as we were stepping into an exciting new phase of life, moving back to Cleveland and building our forever home, Antonino proposed. It was one of those moments that felt both completely surprising and completely right, and it marked the beginning of our next adventure: forever.

Along the way, we’ve been incredibly lucky to share so many of these moments with the people who mean the most to us, our family and friends. Your love, support, and presence have shaped our story, and we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with you.
