Lago East Bank – Upscale Italian-inspired dining with water views (very on-theme!).
Alley Cat Oyster Bar – Waterfront seafood & classic Flats staple.
Collision Bend Brewing – Cleveland favorite brewery + great patio.
A fun stop if you want a lively night out, it's located in the historic Higbee Building downtown.
Even if you’re not a huge rock fan, it’s an iconic experience right on Lake Erie.
If you want a classic Cleveland afternoon, head to University Circle (about 10–15 minutes away).
Cleveland Museum of Art – One of the best art museums in the country and free general admission.
Cleveland Museum of Natural History – Newly transformed/reimagined campus + exhibits.
moCa Cleveland (Museum of Contemporary Art) – Great modern/contemporary museum and also free admission daily.
Great Lakes Science Center – Hands-on museum (great for families too) near the Rock Hall.
If you’re staying downtown (or hanging around the Flats near Aloft), E. 4th Street is one of the best spots in the city for a lively, walkable night out—restaurants, cocktails, comedy, and live music all in one place. Downtown also has some of Cleveland’s highest-rated restaurants for a memorable dinner.

Cordelia - A standout Cleveland favorite known for elevated comfort food, great cocktails, and “Midwest nice” hospitality—right in the heart of E. 4th.
Mabel’s BBQ - Michael Symon’s Cleveland-style BBQ spot — a local classic with tons of flavor and great energy.
Butcher and the Brewer - A brewery + restaurant on E. 4th with a fun vibe, great beer, and shareable plates—ideal for groups.
Society Lounge - A speakeasy-style cocktail bar (moody, classy, and very Cleveland). Great for a pre- or post-dinner drink.
Pickwick & Frolic / Hilarities - A full entertainment complex with dining plus Hilarities Comedy Club—perfect if you want a show night in the city.
House of Blues - Dinner, drinks, and live music all under one roof—always a fun downtown night out option.
Jolene’s Honky Tonk - A newer East 4th addition bringing Nashville energy to Cleveland (live music, DJs, and a big, fun atmosphere).

Oliva Steakhouse - A modern Italian steakhouse with a “nose-to-tail” approach and upscale Tuscan vibe—fantastic for a celebratory dinner.
Marble Room Steaks & Raw Bar - One of the most iconic dining rooms in Cleveland (a restored historic bank) with steaks, seafood, sushi, and a truly special atmosphere.
Morton’s The Steakhouse - Classic upscale steakhouse downtown—reliable, polished, and perfect for a “dress-up” dinner.
Blue Point Grille - Downtown staple for seafood with long-standing top reviews and a great special-occasion feel.
Ohio City is packed with breweries, restaurants, and patios — and it’s very close to downtown.
West Side Market (A Cleveland Classic)
If you do just one “Cleveland local” thing, make it this. A historic public market in Ohio City with everything from pastries and coffee to meats, produce, and prepared foods.

Ohio City has tons of options and it perfect for a group dinner or a casual night out. (Pro tip: you can easily bar-hop along Lorain Ave.)
Just across the river from Downtown, Tremont is full of beautiful old churches, brick streets, patios, and some of the city’s most-loved restaurants and bars. It’s perfect for a relaxed dinner, cocktail night, or a fun afternoon exploring.

If you’re looking for a neighborhood that feels like a mini getaway, Little Italy is a must. It’s one of Cleveland’s most charming areas—lined with Italian restaurants, bakeries, patios, and shops. Great for a date night, family dinner, or a fun group outing.
Nido Italia (Our Favorite!) - A landmark Little Italy restaurant serving traditional Italian cuisine and great wine in an iconic setting.
Mia Bella Restaurant - One of the most popular Little Italy spots—known for classic Italian dishes, warm service, and consistently strong reviews.
La Dolce Vita - A long-time Little Italy favorite for a special dinner—romantic atmosphere, great wine list, and classic Italian menu. Cozymeal
